It’s pouring down with rain? Such a change from the usual sunshine we have grown accustomed to. The rhythmic sound of the raindrops tapping against the ground created a soothing backdrop to the day.

Not enough to stop love blossoming in Kyoto. It was as if the weather was merely a temporary obstacle for those who were meant to be together, as they explored the beauty of the city, hand in hand, with laughter echoing around them.

I had the honor of capturing this surprise proposal for a wonderful couple from the United States, who had journeyed all the way to this enchanting place filled with cherry blossoms and ancient temples.

Two amazing people who moved from Nigeria and found each other in the US, were finally living a dream—a dream that had crossed oceans and defied distances. Love always finds a way, doesn't it?

As the rain thundered on us, they celebrated their love for each other, with smiles radiating joy amidst the droplets. In fact, the rain made it even more special. It transformed the moment into a magical experience, turning their love story into a beautiful narrative, like something right out of a movie!
